Contract Hire is the most popular fleet funding method in the UK as it provides off balance sheet funding at a fixed cost, which may improve your gearing ratio and smooth your cash flow. As Arval can recover the VAT on the purchase price of the vehicle, you get lower rentals. In addition, you can reclaim 50% of the VAT on the finance rental and 100% of the VAT on the maintenance rental subject to your company’s circumstances.

Provided the vehicle is returned in a good condition commensurate to the age and mileage of the vehicle, there will be no further costs to pay.

Is Arval Contract Hire flexible enough to meet my needs?

It is difficult to predict a vehicle mileage over 2, 3 or even 4 years so although we ask for a best estimate at the beginning of the contract, Arval will monitor the mileage of the vehicle throughout its contract and proactively contact you if the vehicle is running outside of the initial mileage to re-contract the vehicle and manage the difference.

What is and is not covered in Arval Guaranteed Maintenance?

* Arval has a fair play policy on car tyres. This means that any damaged car tyres will be replaced inside the maintenance budget. Any replacements in the event of theft, abuse, neglect or vandalism will be recharged.
